Hourly Pay Range:
$61.48 - $95.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
- Position: Clinical Pharmacist Specialist - Infusion, Oncology
- Location: Elmhurst, IL
- Full Time: 40 hours/week
- Required Travel: Yes. May need to occasionally cover at Plainfield and Naperville infusion centers.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
What you will need:
Education:
- Pharm D. from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy (Preferred)
- PGY1 residency plus 1 year of pharmacy practice as appropriate for the program setting OR PGY1 residency plus PGY2 residency plus 6 months of pharmacy practice as appropriate for the program setting OR A minimum of three years of pharmacy experience as appropriate for the program setting
Required License/Certification:
- Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License
- Certification through Board of Pharmacy Specialties (Preferred)
What you will do:
The Clinical Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. As a member of our pharmacy team, provides specialized pharmaceutical services, conducts medication reviews, and contributes to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guideline. In addition, leads and maintains a service or program related to clinical, technical or operational areas within the department or health system. Where applicable, this role may also serve as a primary preceptor for pharmacy residents and must comply with all requirements associated with the training program and accrediting bodies
