We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a desire to create delicious and visually appealing dishes. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that they are of high quality and are enjoyed by the children in the program.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including snacks and lunches

- Follow recipes and ensure that all dishes are prepared to our high standards

- Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and utensils

- Ensure that all food is stored and handled properly

- Collaborate with other staff to ensure that all orders are completed in a timely manner

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a cook

- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures

- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work regularly scheduled hours (Monday-Friday)

- Ability to shop for and restock food supplies 

- Ability to drive company vehicle for shopping trips
