As a Product Engineer (Senior/Staff), you'll build AI-native product experiences, scalable backend systems, distributed infrastructure, and intelligent marketplace capabilities while partnering closely with leadership, product, operations, and customers to shape the future of industrial staffing.

What You'll Do

• Build AI-native product experiences across backend services, platform infrastructure, and customer-facing applications
• Develop production-grade agentic AI workflows powering sourcing, matching, vetting, and workforce automation
• Architect scalable distributed systems supporting millions of marketplace interactions
• Design and implement high-performance APIs, backend services, and data models
• Build intelligent recommendation, matching, and marketplace optimization systems
• Partner closely with Product, Operations, Design, and Leadership to solve high-impact business problems
• Build scalable infrastructure supporting AI agents, orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment
• Leverage modern AI engineering workflows and frontier LLM technologies to accelerate development
• Design highly reliable backend services using Python, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and distributed messaging systems
• Contribute across platform engineering, AI applications, infrastructure, and marketplace systems as a true product generalist
• Improve platform performance, scalability, observability, and engineering quality
• Own highly impactful product initiatives from technical design through production deployment

Ideal Candidate Background

Experience Requirements

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience (5+ years for Senior; 7+ years for Staff)
• Experience building and shipping production software in fast-growing startup environments
• Experience owning products or major features end-to-end
• Experience building AI-powered or agentic AI products in production
• Demonstrated impact through measurable business outcomes
• Experience working across backend systems, APIs, infrastructure, and customer-facing products
• Proven ability to thrive in high-growth, ambiguous startup environments
• Strong product intuition with demonstrated engineering ownership

Technical Requirements

• Strong Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js engineering skills
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and backend architectures
• Experience building production APIs and backend services
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, and query optimization
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar distributed event platforms
• Experience building AI-powered products using LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern AI tooling
• Strong understanding of marketplace architectures, recommendation systems, or multi-sided platforms
• Experience building scalable infrastructure supporting high-growth production systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals across system design, scalability, reliability, and observability
• Ability to rapidly learn and adopt emerging AI technologies while maintaining engineering quality

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another technical field required
• Strong academic background from a Top 25 Computer Science program or equivalent technical university preferred
