Job Description:
The BaSE Supervisor leads day-to-day Buildings & Systems Engineering activities for the Plainfield, IN facility. The role oversees facility maintenance and performance, process improvement, facility and equipment safety programs, and employee development. This role supervises BaSE Automation Specialists and Mechanics.
Responsibilities
Oversee facility maintenance, compliance, and equipment safety programs to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.
Identify, implement, and sustain operational improvements that improve safety, package flow, equipment reliability, performance, and cost.
Identify and schedule necessary repairs and preventative maintenance utilizing BaSE Mechanics, Automation Specialists, and outside vendors to maintain facility conditions.
Monitor preventative maintenance inspections (PMI), mechanic performance, system reliability (OEE), and system performance (SPI) on a daily basis and communicate corrective actions internally to improve overall reliability.
Develop preventative maintenance procedures, investigate equipment failures, and apply root cause analysis to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Communicate assigned work status to colleagues to determine potential impact on the department's schedule.
Deliver required regulatory training, including Lockout Training and Hazmat Training, as directed to BaSE and non-BaSE personnel.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or international equivalent. -Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. - Required
Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week. - Required
Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics - Preferred
Programming experience, including troubleshooting, basic understanding of networks, and motor control theory - Preferred
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and simple diagrams - Preferred
