Software Engineer (.NET / Backend) - Build AI-Powered Products at Scale

Location: New Zealand (Remote or Hybrid)

We're looking for Software Engineers who enjoy solving complex engineering problems, modernising legacy platforms, and using AI to improve the way software is built and delivered. What you'll be working on

• Building scalable, cloud-native software used by businesses every day.
• Modernising legacy systems into maintainable, high-performing platforms.
• Leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to improve developer productivity and software quality.
• Designing and building new products and capabilities from the ground up.
• Automating manual processes wherever possible.
• Solving complex engineering challenges at scale.
• Working across the full software development lifecycle—from design through to production support.
• Collaborating with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

What you'll bring

We're interested in engineers who:

• Have strong experience building commercial software in .NET/C# or another modern backend language.
• Care deeply about writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Enjoy improving existing systems as much as building new ones.
• Have experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Understand modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews and observability.
• Are curious about AI developer tools and excited to incorporate them into everyday engineering.
• Thrive in collaborative, agile teams and enjoy sharing knowledge with others.
• Can troubleshoot production issues and think systematically about reliability and scalability.
