The Operations Lead is a critical senior role responsible for keeping Rappi Argentina's operations running at their best — and building the systems that make sure they stay that way. This person combines a firefighter's instincts with a strategist's mindset: able to diagnose and resolve live operational issues while designing scalable processes that prevent them from recurring.
Operating across all verticals in Argentina, the Operations Lead bridges the gap between day-to-day execution and long-term strategic planning, partnering closely with local teams, regional stakeholders, and global functions

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor key operational metrics across all verticals in Argentina, identifying deviations early and driving fast, structured responses.

• Lead root cause analyses for operational incidents — from diagnosis to solution design to execution — ensuring issues don't repeat.

• Design and implement scalable operational processes that improve reliability, efficiency, and experience for all stakeholders (users, riders, and partners).

• Own strategic planning for operations in Argentina: set priorities, define roadmaps, and align teams around shared goals.

• Manage, develop, and support a team of two direct reports, fostering a data-driven and solutions-oriented culture.

• Partner with commercial, product, and tech teams to identify structural problems and propose scalable solutions.

• Communicate operational performance, priorities, and risks clearly to the leadership team.

• Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvement and lead initiatives end-to-end.

Key Requirements

• Strong SQL skills — you use data to understand what's happening, why, and what to do about it.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving ability in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and seniority levels.

• Confident communicating with leadership — you know how to frame problems, present data, and influence decisions.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• People management experience — you can lead, motivate, and develop a team.

• Strong project management skills — structured, organized, and able to drive initiatives to completion.

• Stress management: comfortable operating in a high-velocity environment where priorities can shift quickly.

• Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).

Desired Requirements

• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase) — a meaningful plus.

• Prior experience in tech or quick-commerce companies.

• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehouse environments.

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
