Overview
Operate commercial motor vehicles to transport freight in interstate or intrastate commerce. Inspect vehicles for safe operating condition, check shipping papers and loads, and comply with state and federal regulations. Deliver freight to consignees, pick up freight as required, and collect freight charges as instructed. Maintain trip records, driver logs, fuel purchase records, and mileage records for compliance. Report accidents, equipment damage, and delays affecting appointments. Requires Class A CDL, 2+ years of OTR driving experience, verifiable 5-year employment history, clean MVR, DOT qualifications, and ability to pass DOT physical. Must be able to sit for extended periods, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat, and climb for vehicle inspections. Team drivers earn $0.39 per mile after 90 days probation, single drivers earn $0.60 per mile after 90 days probation.
