Overview
Comvita is seeking an experienced Beekeeper with strong queen rearing expertise to take on a specialist role within our apiary team. You'll supervise day-to-day queen rearing operations including grafting, cell raising, mating, and queen introduction. Responsibilities also include planning breeding schedules, maintaining breeder colonies, monitoring production outcomes, supervising beekeepers and seasonal staff, and conducting hive inspections. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of practical beekeeping experience, physically fit condition for outdoor work in all weather conditions, and a full, clean driver's license.
