Job Description: The Senior CNC Machinist is responsible for machining parts utilizing Doosan CNC lathes. We are seeking a talented machinist with at least 10 years of experience with knowledge of complex machines, fixturing, and advanced techniques.

Job Details:

• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday (1st shift)
• Starting pay $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience
• Onsite in Halfmoon, NY

Job Responsibilities:

• Creates parts and follows procedures and instructions to meet customer expectations.
• Reads and interprets mechanical schematics to ensure accuracy.
• Sets up tooling equipment, loads parts, reviews programming steps, and ensures adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Makes minor adjustments to programs offsets if needed.
• Responsible for performing first piece inspections on machined parts.
• Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
• Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Expected to run more than one machine at a time.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Mentors entry-level machinists as needed.

• Associates Degree in industrial applications or machining, preferred.
• 10 years of machining experience, preferably on Doosan mills or lathes, required.
