Production Lead
Help shape the future of aquaculture
At BioMar Tech Center, ideas quickly become reality. This is where new raw materials, process technologies and feed concepts are tested, challenged and transformed into pilot-scale production before finding their way into BioMar factories and products around the world.
As our new Production & Process Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that innovation can be turned into safe, efficient and reliable production. You will work at the intersection of production, process technology and R&D, helping bridge the gap between development and execution.
Drive innovation through pilot production and process excellence
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily pilot production activities while supporting process development and technology implementation. You will collaborate closely with scientists, operators, quality, raw materials, maintenance and the Global Process Network.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing daily pilot production activities
- Optimizing process parameters and supporting extrusion technology development
- Leading and supporting operators in daily operations
- Troubleshooting technical and operational challenges
- Ensuring safe, stable and efficient execution of trials and production activities
You will be part of a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly, and where your ability to combine technical understanding with operational execution will make a real difference.
Bring your technical expertise and operational leadership
You enjoy being close to production and understanding how raw materials, equipment and process parameters work together. You are motivated by solving challenges, creating structure and helping others succeed.
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you bring:
- Experience from feed, food or process industries
- Knowledge of extrusion technology, pilot production or processing equipment
- The ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to daily operations
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
Experience from aquafeed production, pilot plants or R&D environments is an advantage, but your mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn are equally important.
