[What the role is]

As an Assistant Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer (Shift Operations) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant, you will play a vital role in treating used water to produce high-quality NEWater and ensure safe discharge to the sea. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us. Your main responsibilities are:  

[What you will be working on]

• Assist the Shift Leader to monitor and control plant processes and to operate M&E and auxiliary equipment safely  

• Respond to abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.  

• Record process and equipment operating readings, perform site checks and troubleshoot minor equipment failures.  

• Carry out site checks of equipment and plant operating conditions regularly and take down relevant operating records.  

• Carry out sampling and testing of specific process parameters to ensure compliance to desired quality output.  

• Record all events that occurred during the shift duty in the operations logbook.  

• Report all equipment breakdown that occurred during the shift in the daily fault notification file.  

• Check equipment and plant operating conditions regularly and take down relevant operating records.  

• Attend to alarms detected within the Plant.  

• Any other duties assigned.  

[What we are looking for]

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical preferred)  

• Able to work independently and a good team player  

• Comfortable with working in used water environment and physically able to perform site works
