Network Security SME

Our client is seeking an experienced Network Security Subject Matter Expert to provide technical advisory and solution design support for enterprise security initiatives. This role focuses on SASE and Zero Trust Network Access technologies, vendor evaluation, and implementation planning across a complex technical environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Advise on enterprise network security solutions, including SASE and ZTNA architecture and deployment strategies
• Assess and evaluate security vendors and products; contribute to vendor selection and business case development
• Design and document comprehensive security solutions; translate complex technical requirements into clear architectural recommendations
• Support implementation planning and readiness activities; identify technical dependencies and potential delivery risks
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams, risk and compliance stakeholders, and business leaders to align security objectives
• Produce clear technical documentation, recommendations, and decision frameworks for stakeholder review
• Mentor and guide technical staff on Zero Trust and identity-based access control principles
• Provide ongoing technical advisory during solution deployment and optimization phases

Requirements

• 8–10 years of enterprise network security and solution design experience
• Deep expertise in SASE and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architecture and deployment
• Hands-on experience with leading security platforms: Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, Cisco, Netskope, and/or Fortinet
• Demonstrated ability in solution design, vendor assessment, and technology evaluation
• Strong technical communication skills; ability to distill complex security concepts for executive and technical audiences
• Experience identifying technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges in large-scale deployments
• Proven track record of collaborating across technical, risk, and business functions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
