Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Retail & Small Business Deposit Performance, the Senior Deposit Product Manager serves as a key contributor responsible for managing the day-to-day performance, evolution, and operational execution of retail and small business deposit products. This role combines product management, business analysis, and operational expertise to identify growth opportunities, implement product and pricing initiatives, improve processes, and ensure a competitive and well-governed deposit portfolio.
What you’ll do:
Deposit Product Performance & Portfolio Management
- Monitor balances, account growth, attrition, portfolio mix, and profitability
- Analyze pricing effectiveness, promotional performance, and customer behaviors.
- Develop recommendations to improve growth, retention, and customer engagement.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning.
- Conduct competitor and market analyses.
- Prepare performance reporting and executive summaries.
Product Development & Implementation
- Manage day-to-day product lifecycle activities.
- Develop business requirements and process documentation.
- Coordinate implementation of product enhancements and new offerings.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and business validation activities.
- Manage product-related project deliverables and timelines.
- Partner with technology teams on system enhancements and releases.
Deposit Operations Partnership & Process Improvement
- Partner with Deposit Operations to identify customer and operational pain points.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Recommend and implement workflow improvements.
- Support operational readiness for product and system changes.
- Assist with procedure updates and process documentation.
- Evaluate automation opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Review proposed product changes for compliance impacts.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Audit teams.
- Support audits, exams, issue remediation, and control reviews.
- Maintain product documentation, disclosures, and governance materials.
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting deposit products
Vendor, Channel & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with digital banking, marketing, retail banking, treasury, and finance teams.
- Participate in vendor relationship management and ongoing performance reviews.
- Coordinate communication and training for product changes.
- Represent product management in cross-functional working groups.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- 5+ years working in a financial services environment with an emphasis on Project Management, Operations, Analysis, and Implementation.
- Strong expertise in a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
