Description
This individual serves as a primary point of contact for interns and fellows and takes ownership of key program processes, including recruiting, housing coordination, events, communications, and program resources. The position also identifies opportunities to strengthen the programs and create a consistent, meaningful experience for participants and internal partners.
This position is a full-time, on-site role in Augusta, GA.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Lead recruitment efforts for internship and fellowship opportunities, including position preparation, candidate sourcing, application review, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position needs, establish recruiting timelines, coordinate interviews, and support candidate selection.
- Build and increase awareness of internship and fellowship opportunities via partnering with our Branding team.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, classroom presentations, information sessions, and other university recruiting events.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for interns and fellows, providing ongoing communication, guidance, and program support throughout their experience.
- Coordinate the onboarding and departure processes for interns and fellows.
- Oversee participant housing logistics, including move in and departure coordination, housing communications, maintenance requests, and ongoing housing needs.
- Plan and coordinate program events, professional development opportunities, networking activities, and engagement initiatives.
- Conduct regular participant touch base meetings and collaborate with managers to support the development and overall experience of interns and fellows.
- Maintain and enhance program resources, including job descriptions, recruiting materials, websites, presentations, guides, forms, and participant communications.
- Track program data and prepare updates related to applications, recruiting activity, hiring progress, participant engagement, and program outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure program processes are consistent, effective, and aligned with organizational needs.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the Internship and Fellowship Programs and the overall participant experience.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, organizational policies, and established hiring practices.
- Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an important part of the job.

- Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
· Constantly required to sit, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Qualifications:
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and high attention to details
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Relative Experience/Education:
- 2 – 4 year’s experience in the Human Resources/ Recruiting field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Required License(s):
- Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program
Projected Work Schedule:
Normal work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. May have some travel July through November.
