Description
- Develop and lead art classes, workshops, and specialty programs offered through Parks & Recreation.
- Plan creative, hands-on projects that are engaging and appropriate for participants.
- Provide instruction and guidance while encouraging creativity and individual expression.
- Communicate program needs, supply requirements, and other details with Parks & Recreation staff.
- Provide a positive customer service experience for participants and families.
- Clean and organize the program area and equipment following each class or workshop.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience teaching, facilitating, or leading art activities or programs is preferred. Knowledge of basic art techniques and creative processes. Skill in communication and organization. Ability to independently prepare and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate art programs and interact effectively with participants and families.
