Position Overview
The VP will play a key role within the Investment Operations team, helping to transform and scale the Private Debt operating model. The role will develop a deep understanding of the platform's processes, stakeholders, systems and controls, while combining hands-on operational involvement and deputy review responsibilities with the leadership of cross-functional initiatives focused on automation, standardization and long-term operational efficiency.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop a strong understanding of the Private Debt platform operating model, including key processes, stakeholders, systems, and controls and act as a deputy reviewer.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance operational procedures, control frameworks, documentation standards, and governance processes.
- Drive process standardization, harmonization, and best practice adoption.
- Lead the coordination and delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives and workstreams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement operational enhancements and support strategic business initiatives.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience within Investment Operations, Fund Operations, Middle Office, or Private Markets Operations, with significant exposure to Private Debt, Private Credit, or alternative investments.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of private debt, loan allocation methodologies, fund cash management, liquidity management, capital calls and distributions
- Demonstrated experience overseeing complex transaction lifecycles, including investment closings, funding coordination, onboarding of investment managers, and operational execution across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
- Proven track record leading operational change initiatives, including process redesign, automation, workflow optimization, governance enhancements, and operating model improvements.
- Experience developing and implementing operational controls, procedures, policies, KPI frameworks, and management reporting to support scalable growth and risk management.
