Veterans Covert Protection Group (VCPG) is hiring professional and dependable Unarmed Event Security Officers for events in Woodside, CA. We are looking for experienced security professionals who are reliable, well-presented, alert, and comfortable working in event environments. This position involves maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere while providing professional and courteous service to guests, staff, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide unarmed security coverage for events.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated event areas.
- Assist with access control and guest verification.
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
- Assist with crowd management when needed.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
- Communicate with event staff, supervisors, and other security personnel.
- Complete incident reports when required.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Qualifications:
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card required.
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience required.
- Event, corporate, executive protection, or hospitality security experience is a plus.
- Must be professional, dependable, and punctual.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must have reliable transportation to Woodside, CA.
- Must meet all applicable employment and security licensing requirements.
Schedule:
Event-based scheduling. Hours and shifts may vary depending on event needs. Candidates should have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
