Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a College in Roxbury MA

Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM 

Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Roxbury Crossing, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming campus environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help support a welcoming learning environment and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
