Facility Housekeeper (Part-Time)

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Facility Housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers and team members.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active throughout the day, working independently, and taking ownership of their work. The successful candidate understands that a well-maintained facility plays a critical role in the customer experience and is committed to upholding the high standards that set our storage operation apart.

As a Facility Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and condition of our facility, while also supporting basic storage operations and customer service needs.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the facility, including hallways, restrooms, common areas, and storage spaces.
• Keep parking lots, loading areas, sidewalks, entrances, and surrounding grounds clean and free of debris.
• Conduct routine property walks and inspections to identify cleanliness concerns, safety hazards, or maintenance issues.
• Report maintenance, safety, and repair needs promptly through established procedures.
• Perform storage-related operational tasks, including unit scans, overlock placement, customer unlocks, and inventory verification.
• Utilize company computers, mobile devices, and scanning technology to support daily operations.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, assisting them when needed and helping to create a positive storage experience.
• Safely use cleaning products, disinfectants, and related chemicals according to company policies and safety guidelines.
• Transport cleaning supplies and equipment throughout the property using carts and other tools.
• Assist with unit cleanouts, trash removal, and other facility support projects as needed.
• Support overall facility operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring regular movement throughout a large storage facility.

Candidates should be able to:

• Walk and remain on their feet for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Push and maneuver carts containing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safely lift, move, and carry supplies, debris, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Safely handle cleaning products and chemicals in accordance with training and company procedures.

Work Environment

This position involves working throughout a large storage property in both indoor and outdoor environments. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, cleaning chemicals, dust, vehicle traffic, and general maintenance-related conditions. Appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment will be provided when required.
