As a Part Time Unarmed Medical Center Security Officer in the West Philadelphia neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in the healthcare field. Position Type: Part Time, Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking facilities, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate campus locations when needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
