Your future team:
The Group Supply Chain team is dedicated to maximizing efficiency, capacity, and operational excellence across our global supply chain. Working closely with the Business Process Owner for planning and detailed production scheduling, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to improve how we plan and schedule production in our operating companies. You’ll act as a bridge between process design and operational reality, translating business requirements into practical, scalable solutions that drive real operational impact.
You will report to Flemming Silfwander, Senior Director for Group Supply Chain.
What you will be doing:
- Configure and implement solutions in close collaboration with the Business Process Owner, ensuring production planning and scheduling concepts are tailored to Rockwool’s operational needs
- Support operating companies (OPCOs) as an internal consultant, working closely with strategy and translating strategic direction into practical solutions, while also taking a hands-on role in developing and implementing detailed production scheduling solutions that create measurable value.
- Drive change and adaption by taking the lead in process improvements, ways of working, and solution rollout across the organization
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across functions and operating companies to understand business needs, guide implementation, and ensure alignment on how operational requirements fit within standard solutions
- Ensure execution and progress by following up on actions, deliverables, and required tasks, while supporting documentation and data-related activities
- Improve operational processes collaboratively with OPCOs, combining your expertise in process improvement, implementation support, and stakeholder coordination
- Facilitate alignment across teams using strong facilitation skills to guide discussions, set direction, and drive progress without relying on formal authority
- Traveling approximately 30-40 days per year to support and collaborate with operating companies
What you bring:
- +3 years of experience working with production planning and detailed production scheduling in a mature production environment
- Solid understanding of operational processes and how system-supported solutions work in practice
- Strong ability to translate business needs into practical and sustainable solutions within a standard framework
- Practical experience in data analysis and data modelling
- Structured and persistent approach to managing both strategic and operational tasks
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive alignment across functions
- Programming knowledge that enables collaboration with development teams on technical specifications
- Fluency in English
- Educational background in production engineering, operations, supply chain, or related field
