We’re currently looking for a Part Time Companion | Caregiver in Wall Township, NJ (07719)
A family is seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver for their 80-year-old mother with moderate Alzheimer’s. The ideal candidate will provide companionship, help maintain her daily routine, and offer the family peace of mind while she continues living at home.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 12:00 PM–3:00 PM
- Flexibility required, based on family’s care needs
- Ideally 2-4 hours per week, 5 days per week

Start date: ASAP
- Ideally by November 20th
- Length of Position: Ongoing
- Rate: $30-$35 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engaging activities
- Help her get ready for the day
- Assist with simple meal prep and clean up
- Encourage walks, spending time outdoors, listening to music and other activities
- Provide transportation for occasional appointments/outings
- Assist with light laundry and household tasks
- Communicate changes or concerns with the family
Requirements
- Alzheimer’s/dementia care experience required
- 2+ years of care related experience - examples: adult care, home health care, hospice, etc
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Must pass background and social media screening
- Must provide 2 professional care-related references
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and trustworthy
- Comfortable adapting as care needs change
- Teaching/education background is a plus, not required (helpful to build a relationship with patient/client)
Compensation + Benefits
This position pays $30-$35 per hour for approximately 2–4 hours per day, 5 days per week. This is an ongoing, long-term position.
