Hybrid Cloud Technician

My name is Daniel Jastér, and I lead the Hybrid IT & Cloud team at Telia Cygate. We are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Hybrid Cloud Technician. In this role, you will apply your expertise, develop alongside experienced colleagues, and contribute to shaping the future of digital infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

As a Hybrid Cloud Technician, you will help our customers maintain stable, secure, and reliable IT environments. Your responsibilities will include resolving incidents and service requests, performing maintenance and development activities, and working with specialist and support teams to address more complex issues. The role covers configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting, with a particular focus on Cloud and Hybrid IT.

You will not only work with today’s technology but also help shape the solutions of tomorrow. As part of our AI initiative, you will have the opportunity to explore emerging solutions, strengthen your expertise, and contribute ideas on how AI can create value for both customers and employees.

You are not expected to know everything from day one. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and given opportunities to continuously develop your skills.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Microsoft 365 environments: Maintenance, monitoring, security configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Windows Servers and Active Directory Domain Services: Server configuration, Group Policies, domain controller management, and Certificate Services (PKI) administration.
• Microsoft Defender and security solutions: Administration, monitoring, and configuration of Microsoft Defender and Advanced Threat Protection.
• VMware platforms: Management, monitoring, and troubleshooting of virtual environments. Snapshots, backups, and restoration of virtual machines.
• Linux, Kubernetes, and containers: Management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Veeam backup management: Configuration, monitoring, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting through log analysis: Analysis of server and client logs.
• Collaboration: Supporting the Service Desk and other support teams with technical challenges and incidents.

What will help you thrive in this role:

You are motivated by solving problems, building trust, and helping customers overcome technical challenges. You collaborate effectively, share knowledge openly, and value constructive feedback. We place equal importance on curiosity, a structured approach, and a willingness to develop as we do on having all the answers from the outset.

• You have relevant IT experience gained through employment, education, or another setting in which you have developed equivalent expertise.
• Experience in several of the following areas is considered an advantage: Windows Server, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Active Directory Domain Services, Linux, container platforms, Kubernetes, and Backup & Restore.
• General understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and end-user environments is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Swedish (native or near-native) and good English. Due to customer requirements, Swedish citizenship is required.
