Description
With over 30 years’ experience, CHAS is the trusted health and safety certification specialist for construction and the public sector. Founded by Merton Council, we help contractors pre-qualify for projects and give clients easy access to over 30,000 compliant contractors.
We set the standard for excellence. Our audits align with major legislation and recognised standards, making compliance simple.
If you’re someone who can build a great relationship while keeping an eye out for the next opportunity, this could be the role for you.
As an Account Executive, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, helping them get the most from their relationship with CHAS while driving retention, renewals and growth. You’ll build relationships with key stakeholders, understand what matters to them and identify opportunities to deepen their partnership with us.
What that means day to day
-
Manage your own portfolio of clients, building strong relationships with key contacts and understanding what they need from their partnership with CHAS.
-
Own the client journey from onboarding through to renewal, keeping customers engaged, addressing any issues and reconnecting with clients where engagement has dropped.
-
Hold regular client reviews and conversations, making sure customers are getting value from the service while identifying opportunities to increase contractor connections.
-
Spot and develop opportunities for growth, including upsell opportunities, and work with Account Managers when there’s potential to grow an account further.
-
Keep on top of your accounts, maintaining accurate CRM records, sharing regular updates and working with teams across the business to deliver a great customer experience.
What you’ll need to be successful
You’ll have experience working in a customer success or key account environment, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities at pace, staying organised and making sure your clients continue to receive a great level of service.
You’ll also be a confident communicator with strong influencing and relationship management skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with both customers and colleagues across the business.
Experience within supply chain compliance, environment, health and safety, or quality would be an advantage. We’d also welcome experience within property management or governance, risk and compliance, although these aren’t essential for success in the role.
