Job Purpose
To coordinate, facilitate implement and monitor WASH projects within the Cluster through capacity building, networking, partnership and participation of the communities

- Carry out needs assessment and reviews through engagement with communities and partners to determine development interventions that are required.
- Coordinate the preparation of WASH Plans and budgets; and implement planned activities within approved budget and in alignment with the WASH Business Plan and Universal Service Coverage Programme.
- Ensure availability of qualitative and quantitative data and information for input into mWater and IMPAQ, and OIOS.
- Build capacity of , volunteers, communities, Church and Government partners and other partners in WASH related issues.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of funding and procurement requests, and coordinate with the Cluster Manager and Supply Chain Coordinator to facilitate logistics for project activity implementation
- Promote donor satisfaction through quality implementation of donor requirements and standards including reporting, developing impact stories, budget execution, branding, update meetings and other engagements.
- Ensure implementation of Audit and Risk Assessment recommendations in WASH and related projects and their impact areas within the cluster.
- Involve in the preparation of concept notes, proposals and impact stories that can be used to engage donors within the health/Nutrition and WASH sectors
- Facilitate and report (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) on WASH activities, outputs and outcomes in communities.
- Ensure representation of WV cluster office at District and Regional events related to WASH/Health/Nutrition where World Vision is invited and report on them to the cluster programmes manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification
- Degree Public Health, behavioral science, water and sanitation engineering, project management or any related field.
- Technical Training qualifications required: Public Health/Nutrition
- Experience: Three years’ (3) experience in working in the WASH or Health/Nutrition Sectors
Required Professional Experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience in working in the WASH / Health Sector
- A minimum of three years (3) working experience in an NGO environment
Required Language(s)
- Effective in written and verbal communication in English and either Twi, Ewe, Konkomba, Krachi language
Preferred Experience, Knowledge and/or other Qualifications
- Deep understanding of community-based approaches, Social Behavioral Change Communication including clear involvement of children, women and People with disabilities in hygiene promotion.
- Knowledge of key project models and approaches in WASH & Health/Nutrition Sectors
- Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
- Attend and participate/lead in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.
- Proven ability to communicate on WASH/Health & Nutrition topics with diverse groups.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to support in the development and roll out of projects.
- Good development and facilitation skills, including catalyzing, connecting, and building the capacity of community groups/ partners.
- Strong communicator at all levels with interpersonal skills, ability and commitment to listen to others.
- Demonstrate commitment to the empowerment of the poor in rural communities.
- Working knowledge of programs/projects cycle management.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and key partners.
- Experience in community entry and mobilization and development facilitation.
- Working knowledge of proposal writing and negotiation skills.
- Monitoring, reporting and proposal writing skills
- Perform other duties as required.
