Position: Neurosurgeon – Spine-Focused Practice

Position Highlights
HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join an established, spine-focused surgical practice in Blackfoot, Idaho.
This opportunity offers the ability to step into an established practice with a strong referral base, consistent elective surgical volume, experienced colleagues, and no emergency department or inpatient call responsibilities.
The position is particularly attractive to a neurosurgeon seeking a predictable surgical practice with clinical autonomy and long-term professional growth.
Practice Details

Established neurosurgical practice

Primarily elective, spine-focused case mix

Existing referral base and established patient demand

Two neurosurgeons currently in the practice

Experienced surgeons available for collaboration and mentorship

Dedicated operating room time and organized clinic workflows

Experienced surgical and administrative support

No ER or inpatient call

Flexible physician-directed scheduling, generally four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days

Flexibility to refine clinical focus and scheduling protocols

Meditech Expanse EMR with integrated Suki AI documentation
Clinical Opportunity
-
Evaluate and manage patients with spinal and neurosurgical conditions
-
Perform elective spine procedures within clinical training and privileges
-
Provide outpatient surgical consultations and postoperative care

Develop individualized surgical and nonsurgical treatment plans

Collaborate with experienced neurosurgeons on complex cases

Maintain relationships with established referring providers

Participate in practice development and quality initiatives

Help shape the future direction of an established surgical service

Qualifications
-
MD or DO
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery

Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho

Training and clinical interest in spine surgery

New graduates and experienced neurosurgeons welcome

Strong surgical judgment and commitment to quality patient care

Ability to collaborate with an established surgical team

J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship are not available
