Overview
SBS is looking for an experienced Agile Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-grade banking platform components within our Research & Development organization.
This role is ideal for a technology leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong Agile delivery and people leadership skills. As an Agile Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of strategic product components, drive engineering excellence, enable high-performing Agile teams, and ensure the successful execution of complex technology initiatives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native banking solutions while continuously improving engineering practices, delivery processes, and product quality.

Responsibilities
Agile Delivery Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale software components from planning through production deployment.
- Own component roadmap, delivery commitments, execution strategy, and overall delivery governance.
- Drive Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint execution, release readiness, and delivery predictability.
- Manage project scope, priorities, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor delivery metrics, quality indicators, and team performance to continuously improve execution.
Engineering & Technology Leadership
- Guide engineering teams in developing scalable, cloud-native applications based on Java and Microservices architecture.
- Drive architectural alignment in collaboration with Software Architects and Technical Leads.
- Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Encourage adoption of engineering best practices, automation, DevOps, and modern software development methodologies.
- Promote AI-assisted engineering by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve development productivity, planning, documentation, and decision-making.
People Leadership & Team Enablement
- Build, mentor, coach, and empower high-performing Agile engineering teams.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Remove delivery impediments and enable teams to achieve their sprint and Program Increment objectives.
- Provide technical and delivery guidance while supporting career growth and capability development.
- Reinforce organizational values and cultivate an inclusive, high-performance engineering culture.
Stakeholder & Program Management
- Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and senior leadership to align delivery with business priorities.
- Communicate project health, delivery progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Support strategic planning and investment decisions to maximize product value and business outcomes.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and quality standards are consistently followed across development teams.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Agile transformation initiatives across teams and programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, delivery efficiency, and product quality.
- Champion innovation through continuous learning, experimentation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 15–17 years of experience in software engineering, product development, and technology delivery.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications using Java, Cloud technologies, and Microservices architecture.
- Proven experience managing
