Position Summary
Laney Solutions is partnering with an established, privately held parking management company to identify a Business Development professional to drive growth across the West Coast, anchored in the Seattle market with active expansion into San Francisco. This individual will develop new client relationships and secure self-park and parking management contracts across a diverse portfolio of commercial and institutional assets.
This role is focused exclusively on business development. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial sales professional with strong commercial real estate relationships and a proven track record of building long-term client partnerships, ideally someone with parking operations experience who has transitioned into a sales role.
This is a hybrid position based in Seattle, Washington, with primary coverage across the Seattle and San Francisco markets. This role reports directly to the Regional Vice President.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the West Coast region.

Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.

Build relationships with property owners, developers, asset managers, healthcare systems, hospitality groups, and institutional clients.

Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract execution.

Collaborate with regional operations teams to develop customized client solutions.

Coordinate proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.

Attend industry conferences, trade events, and networking functions throughout the region.

Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide regular forecasting updates.

Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications

5+ years of business development or sales experience in commercial real estate, parking, transportation, facilities management, or related services.

Proven ability to develop and close high-value service contracts.

Strong network within commercial real estate and property ownership communities, ideally in the Seattle and/or San Francisco markets.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to travel regionally across the West Coast territory.

Experience utilizing Salesforce and pipeline management tools.
Preferred Experience

Parking management or operations experience, particularly in self-park environments.

Existing relationships with major property owners, developers, REITs, or healthcare organizations in the Pacific Northwest or Northern California.

Experience transitioning from parking operations into a business development or sales role.

Understanding of parking technology, revenue management, and commercial parking solutions.
