Kitting Supervisor

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Kitting Supervisor.​

## What you’ll do:

Authority:

Contribution to accomplish the HI 5 metrics for the plant related to deliveries. Responsible of keep the security of the Kitting area and provide all the tools to the team by performance their activities with safety.

Material flow process between Warehouse and Production line, Manage Material Handling, Max Min strategy. Assure Production plan Kitting level by day, Week, Month. Contribute to inventory accuracy at Kitting floor. Audit Transactions at SAP between Warehouse, Production floor and Shipping department.

Job Summary:

Assure availability and continuity of Material Flow Between Warehouse and Production, Participate and demonstrate understanding of other programs such as Eaton Business System (EBS), Eaton Management of Environmental Safety & Health (MESH). Participate in and demonstrate positive attitude towards BPI, RIE, Value stream mapping and other Continuous improvement activities. Coordinate the revision with SAP solve discrepancies and customer compliance with the MDC. Take decisions of Kitting procedure. Supervise the correct flow of products at the shipping area. Work in alignment with Production, Planning, Purchasing team. Escalate any inventory discrepancy in the kitting area, communicate in advance any stock out that may affect the production plan.

Job Responsibilities:

A. Coordinate the workflow of the area and determinate priority of the products need to be Kitted according with the Zorders /ZQMOR / Customer requirements.

B. Keep records the accurate inventories electronically movements at SAP vs physically by Kitted and Confirmed from SAP system.

C. Provided the accurate tools, equipment and training to the Kitting employees in order they developed correctly their functions.

E. Monitor movements that are made from the Warehouse to production floor.

F. Keep the Kitting area secure according with the MESH program and provide tools and feedback to the employees in order to avoid any incident, accident or registrable at the area.

G. Give follow up to any discrepancies reported between physically and electronically movements, give follow up to the customer compliance looking for a route cause and implement corrective actions.

H. Supervise and advise on transactions within SAP corresponding to the previous activities.

I. Timely compliance with ISO 9001:2015 documents that apply.

J. Administer adequately, the resources to carry out the operations of your department and 5 ´ S

K. Keep the equipment assigned to your department in good condition.

L. Work in coordination with the areas of planning, production and quality with the intention of ensuring the supply of materials for the operation in time and form.

M. Support with the dissemination of policy and quality objectives in your department,

N. Seek the improvement of the operation and consequently the indicators of the department.

O. Ensure the drive ability and correct administration of inventory in Kiting locations.

P. Ensure that personnel under your responsibility receive the training required to ensure the quality of the product.

Q. Ensure that your personal responsibility works in a safe environment.

R. To promote a culture of security and to participate actively in the activities that tend to improve the working conditions of the plant.

## Qualifications:

Education Level Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Administration or equivalent.

Years and Area of Experience Required

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (high mix, low demand preferred) as production planner.

## Skills:

Technical Knowledge:

• SAP experience
• Excel
• Knowledge of repetitive and discrete production
• Warehouse Management

• This position requires someone that has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate both with upper and lower-level personnel. Must have good sense of judgment, knowledge of products, knowledge of a good working knowledge of computer systems and SAP. Material Flow Knowledge, Warehouse technical skills.
