What we’re looking for:
The Timekeeper is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely recording of employee work hours and paid time off. This role involves entering missed punches, updating schedules, and ensuring all timecard entries are accurate in the ADP time system on a bi-weekly basis
With limited supervision
- Entering Missed Punches: Accurately enter any missed punches to ensure all employee work hours are recorded.
- Updating Schedules: Regularly update employee schedules to reflect any changes or adjustments.
- Entering Paid Time Off: Record and manage paid time off (PTO) requests and ensure they are accurately reflected in the system.
- Ensuring Time Accuracy: Verify that all time entries are accurate and compliant with company policies and relevant labor laws.
- Bi-Weekly Time System Updates: Ensure that all timecard entries are updated in the ADP time system on a bi-weekly basis for payroll processing.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between employees and payroll analysts, addressing any timekeeping-related inquiries or discrepancies.
- Training: Provide training for new employees on timekeeping procedures and software usage.
Education / Experience / Skills Requirements
• Experience with timekeeping systems, preferably ADP and Kronos.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and payroll.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Certifications, licenses, or registrations:
- FPC or CPP nice but not required.
Specific Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
