Embedded Linux Kernel Developer
We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Automotive Linux to join a high-performing engineering team focused on developing software for automotive processors. This role offers the opportunity to work on low-level system components such as hypervisors, bootloaders, Linux OS, and middleware.
You will collaborate with experienced technical leaders and Agile teams while contributing to cutting-edge automotive solutions, following industry standards and best practices in software development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain code for various software components and related infrastructure;
- Create and execute tests to ensure software quality and reliability;
- Work on low-level system components including hypervisors, bootloaders, Linux OS, and middleware;
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the development lifecycle;
- Utilize modern software lifecycle management tools and processes;
- Follow automotive software development standards and best practices;
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in both hardware and low-level software environments.
Requirements
- Strong experience in C programming;
- Solid experience with Linux programming;
- Experience debugging hardware and low-level software (e.g., device drivers, RTOS);
- Hands-on experience with source control tools (e.g., Git) and change management systems;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or a related technical field;
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel programming;
- Experience with automotive-specific applications or standards;
- Familiarity with ARM architecture and assembly language;
- Understanding of Linux networking stacks and drivers.
