Overview
Job description:
Conduct one-on-one virtual meetings via Acuity online meeting software. Be a point of contact for incoming first year students. Summer peer advisers will meet with incoming first-year students via Zoom, holding 15-minute appointments to answer questions about academics, social life, and extracurricular activities. Each advising hour will accommodate up to three appointments, with a 5-minute buffer in between.
Job requirements:
A minimum of 10 hours total is required, with flexible scheduling between mid-June and mid-August
Additional hours will be available without a set maximum.

1. Sorts, records and files written material in alphabetical, numerical, or subject order. 2. Keyboards correspondence, tables, charts, reports, and other material. Answers telephones. Takes messages. 3. Searches records and files for readily identified information. Uses a computer terminal to input and retrieve data. 4. Posts and codes information on standard forms. Opens and distributes mail. Photocopies material. Maintains records and logs. Provides routine information related to function. 5. Performs additional functions incidental to office activities.
