$46,947.00 - $65,726.00The Training Assistant will support the programmatic operations of the Education Unit within the Division of HIV Medicine including scheduling educational in-services, conferences and webinars. They will assist the Education Senior Program Coordinator and the Education Administrative Coordinator.They will be responsible for data entry and reporting to our AIDS Education & Training Center (AETC) grant.
The incumbent will also assist with documenting and accrediting these events which target medical and community-based providers.
The assistant will actively participate in the needs assessment process, and the proofing and editing of presentations (including PowerPoint slide sets).
The applicant must be detail-oriented, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to provide presenters with technical support to deliver HIV education (distance-based and in-person).
Qualifications and Ideal Characteristics
1. HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years’ experience.
2. Proficient with computer/software applications.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
4. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
