Senior Commercial BankerResponsibilities:
- Execute strategic calling plans and promote business opportunities to drive business development, deposit strategies and portfolio quality to meet financial targets.
- Work closely with the Branch Managers in the market to develop and execute a deposit strategy to exceed deposit growth goals.
- Maintains a portfolio of consumer and small business relationships for both credit and deposits. Works with credit administration on renewals, screening and approvals and works with Sr. Commercial Banker regarding any larger credit opportunities.
- Deliver knowledgeable advice and client solutions for existing and prospective customer relationships.
- Opens new business and personal accounts, including checking, savings, certificate of deposit, and all other accounts and services offered by the bank.
- Work to build a culture characterized by teamwork, high morale, and retention of valued employees to create a positive work environment. Attracts, motivates, develops, and supports branch teams committed to the highest levels of customer service, community involvement, cost efficiency, and integrity in line with Movement Bank’s mission, vision, and core values.
- Serve as a resource to department leaders for the delivery of support to branches and customers to have organizational wide synergy for positive customer experience and employee productivity.
- Collaborate with teams within the bank to create, enhance, and maintain current procedures.
- Ensure quality and consistency of the bank’s sales, operational, and service expectations across the market to maximize customer experience.
- Encourage clients and their employees to maintain their personal banking with Movement Bank.
- Ability to exercise judgement and raise questions to management and adhere to policy guidelines.
- Follow developed policies and procedures and regulatory guidance and completes all assigned training in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in community and professional networking events.
- Perform related and unrelated duties as may be required.
