Job Description
As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Access in Forest, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. - Provide customer service to all employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and authorized entry screening at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and/or access permissions, and report unusual activity, policy deviations, or security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post instructions and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, checkpoints, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and observe conditions that may require follow-up.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding daily operations and security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
