Overview
The Physician Assistant provides quality patient care in the Emergency Department under physician supervision and medical directives. Key responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, performing physical examinations, interpreting findings, organizing diagnostic investigations, performing controlled acts under delegation, and counseling patients on preventive care. You'll work with a collaborative interprofessional team in a fast-paced emergency environment. Requirements include graduation from an accredited PA program, certification, and current ACLS/BLS certifications. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, clinical assessment competencies, and ability to work in a collaborative medical model. Experience in emergency departments is preferred.
