Position Summary- Will work to develop, improve, and support all productions processes associated with the launch, manufacture, and testing of products to promised parameters and quality standards in a Machining environment.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Will be programming equipment, create CNC code, and tool path simulation
- Will be primary contact for design engineering & program management for internal manufacturing processes.
- Will create and maintain manufacturing methods, bill of Materials, labor standards for ERP system.
- Will participate in related Continuous Improvement cost reductions and process improvements.
- Will design tooling fixtures, gages, and equipment using Inventor 3-D CAD software & MasterCam.
- Provide analysis for manufacturing variances to help identify key area in need of improvement
- Be willing and able to be hands-on in all facets of the machining processes needed to manufacture product to promised parameters and specifications.
- Able to not just have knowledge of, but actual hands-on experience with GD&T.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Four year degree in engineering preferred with 3 or more years of experience or 10-15 years of progressive manufacturing job responsibilities in lieu of a degree in Engineering
