Job Overview
This position is responsible for assisting leadership by developing and training production associates on current and new products ensuring that all quality standards and operating procedures are being followed. Advocate continuous improvement by ensuring quality assurance, safety, and productivity in all departments.
Mid Shift Schedule: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Highlights of your role
- Responsible for cross training associates on products, measured by cross training metrics.
- Assist leadership in developing training plan for new associates.
- Maintain up-to-date training records for cross training, quality notifications, safety, toolbox trainings, etc.
- Review quality data daily while identifying training opportunities.
- Review SOP’s created by engineering.
- Assist engineering in process development of new products and changes to current process.
- Ensure quality standards are effectively followed and maintained.
- Assist with in-process manufacturing audits.
- Work with Supervisor to create and maintain a work environment that promotes company values and surpasses goals.
- Assist Supervisor with department employee performance by providing formative feedback.
- Communicate safety and safety training by ensuring that employees are properly trained on using equipment and power hand tools, troubleshooting when needed.
- Maintain responsibility of paperwork and documentation of departmental data.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- High School diploma/GED required
- Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience/training is strongly preferred
