UCA Coordinator (Line 1 & Line 4 - Day Shift)

Job Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating the process of producing and delivering window components that customers perceive as having high quality and value with on time delivery. Please note: this is a temporary, full‑time position with an anticipated duration of one year.

 

Highlights of your role

• Utilize Scan Off Line tracking to monitor units and identify issues impacting production flow.
• Track Scan Off Line activity in CPA across all areas to ensure units are returned online quickly and efficiently.
• Partner with Purchasing to coordinate glass reorders as needed.
• Process and complete dispositions and order management requests as directed by management.
• Communicate regularly with Supervisors regarding units impacting their areas and resolution status.
• Physically move product from CPA to Line 1 or Line 4 to support production demands and maintain workflow.
• Understand and apply quality guidelines for wood and aluminum products.
• Provide feedback to production areas on quality issues identified through Scan Off Line activity.
• Ensure dispatch alignment within CPA to support accurate production scheduling and product flow.

• Ability to work effectively in a team situation as well as independently 
• Ability to perform a multi-task job and adjust priorities as appropriate 
• Standing and/or walking for 10 hours a day 
• Working at an established production rate pace entailing pushing and/or pulling of materials 
• Bending, reaching, twisting, and turning 
• Use of several ICIM programs and the willingness to learn

Compensation

$19.00 - $25.50 per hour
