Collaborating Psychiatrist (Collaborative/Consulting Role)
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to serve in a collaborative, consultation-based role supporting advanced practice providers within a behavioral health setting. This position focuses on clinical oversight, case consultation, and regulatory collaboration requirements rather than direct patient management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide collaborative psychiatric consultation to nurse practitioners
- Review and sign documentation as required by state regulations
- Participate in periodic case reviews and treatment planning discussions
- Support quality assurance, clinical compliance, and best practices
- Be available for clinical guidance and emergency consultation when needed
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry
- Active unrestricted state medical license
- DEA registration preferred
- Prior collaborative or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Schedule/Commitment:
Flexible, part-time, and primarily remote with minimal administrative burden.
