This position will be for the Jefferson College of Nursing, Abington-Dixon campus, located in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. As we celebrate over 125 years of educating professional nurs­es, the Jefferson College of Nursing has been recognized as a key component of Thomas Jefferson Universityâ¿¿s mission to define the future of clinical care. Building on our impressive foundation, we are now implementing a new program of study called the Curriculum for Health is H.E.R.E.: humanistic, evidence-based, reflective, and excellence in clinical leaders, changing the way BSN stu­dents are educated and prepared for practice. We are seeking visionary, creative educators to support this new concept-based BSN curriculum which is guid­ed by the core themes of practice excellence, population health, inter-professional collaboration, and innovation. Our Immersion Educators will facilitate effective student learning in a variety of clinical educational settings across the care continuum and provide guidance for students across multiple care transitions. Education Requirement: MSN from an accredited institution required. Position requirements focus on these core competencies: Clinical: Ability to function with professional account­ability in clinical settings across the care continuum and inter-professional care teams Teaching: Ability to create a climate of conceptual learning for positive student outcomes Ability to develop and maintain effective working rela­tionships with colleagues, staff, students, agency person­nel and others Education Requirement: MSN from an accredited institution required.
