Description
Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. Knowledge of one or more programming language suitable for graphics (e.g., C++, C). Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field. Applies Graphics knowledge to assist in the architect, design, implementation, and verification of the structure and performance of GPU hardware, drivers, features, applications, and tools. Writes code for well-defined features, drivers, and APIs using different languages (e.g., C, C++, perl, python). Maintains comprehensive pre- and post-silicon tests using tools and methods for a specific, well-defined component to verify performance. Assists in identifying deficiencies in designs and works with team members to develop solutions to improve designs. Collaborates with team members to understand new features and functionality that align with needs and goals for implementation and customization. Writes detailed design documentation and feature descriptions for projects. Works under supervision. Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information. Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals
