Allied Health Coordinator - Dietitian | BlueCare | Allied Health Team

  • Employment Status: Permanent Full Time

  • Location: Brisbane Based - Hybrid working arrangement with travel required.

  • Remuneration: $62.93 p/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

  • Classification: PO4.1, PO4.2 & PO4.3 l determined by demonstrated experience

We're looking for an experienced Allied Health professional who is passionate about improving the lives of older Australians and supporting people to live independently in their communities.

About the role

As an Allied Health Coordinator, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise across community services, ensuring the delivery of person-centred, evidence-based care to clients.

  • Provide clinical leadership, support and supervision to Allied Health staff and Allied Health Assistants

  • Assess, develop, implement and evaluate client care plans and group programs

  • Support client independence, wellbeing and self-management outcomes

  • Coordinate orientation, training and student supervision programs

  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and participate in case discussions and referrals

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, service development and evidence-based practice projects

  • Analyse care outcomes and contribute to continuous service improvement

  • Represent BlueCare at professional forums, workshops and community engagements

Role requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline – Essential

  • Current registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable) – Essential

  • Extensive clinical experience within your speciality area – Essential

  • Current Driver Licence and access to a suitable insured vehicle – Essential

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) – Essential

  • Ability to confidently use smartphones, tablets, laptops and other digital systems

  • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and community or aged care settings highly regarded

  • Ability to satisfy all relevant probity requirements including a Federal Police Check

Hybrid Work at Blue Care
