Responsible for delivery of the worldwide medical and scientific unsolicited customer inquiry management (“Medical Information”) within the Global Medical Affairs / Medical Excellence Operations organization based out of GCC India. The role ensures high-quality, compliant, and efficient service delivery, supports process consistency and operational governance, and partners with Global Medical Affairs and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure operational delivery and continuous improvement across Medical Information services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Own end-to-end delivery of Medical Information services, including management of inquiry-related workflows, content / document creation, and escalation support.
Perform literature review and support drafting of higher-complexity scientific / medical responses and content within defined workflows.
Create, maintain, and manage Medical Information resources and related documentation in line with defined quality and process expectations.
Manage complex escalation handling in coordination with relevant stakeholders and functions, as applicable and in line with KPIs.
Deliver periodic reporting, audit / inspection-related requests, and other defined Medical Information deliverables within scope.
Implement process discipline, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the Medical Information service model.
Support the transition and stabilization of services into GCC and contribute to process standardization, documentation, and operational maturity.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Medical Information services and related deliverables are supported effectively and in line with defined quality, compliance, and service expectations.
Escalation-related and higher-complexity scientific / medical outputs are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines (KPI).
Documentation, reporting support, and stakeholder alignment are maintained effectively across the service model.
Identified risks / gaps are addressed in a timely manner, with appropriate remediation and continuous improvement actions.
Education: Advanced degree or equivalent qualification in life science, healthcare, pharmacy, medicine, or related field preferred.
Experience: 8-12+ years experience in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry, ideally with experience in Medical Information, medical / scientific writing, and related support models.
Subject matter expertise in the domains of Medical Information processes, customer inquiry management, literature review, and scientifically / medically relevant support workflows.
