The Business Skills Lead LATAM serves as the bridge between Commercial Excellence strategy and field execution through impactful, data-driven training programs. Reporting to the Head of SFE & Sales Training LATAM Vision, this role leverages Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) insights to enhance technical proficiency, commercial agility, and overall sales force effectiveness across the region.
This position integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and C.E.O. Behaviors into team objectives, decision-making, and capability development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Training Needs Assessment & Insights
- Assess business training needs using performance reports, benchmarking, customer feedback, and analytics.
- Identify sales capability gaps and translate them into actionable learning priorities.
- Utilize customer insights, sales performance metrics, and key business indicators to improve training effectiveness and commercial performance.
Curriculum & Program Development
- Design and implement data-driven sales training programs, onboarding content, and learning resources.
- Enhance curricula focused on:
- Technical and product expertise
- Clinical selling
- Sales cycle management
- Strategic account management
- Enterprise effectiveness
- Market effectiveness
- Maintain a deep understanding of products, services, policies, and commercial processes to ensure training remains aligned with business priorities.
- Establish and lead a "Coaching the Coaches" program to strengthen frontline Sales Manager coaching capabilities.
Sales Enablement & CRM Integration
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to ensure sales teams are current on product updates and competitive positioning.
- Own and maintain the Sales Competency Playbook, ensuring it evolves with changing market conditions.
- Collaborate with the SFE team to analyze CRM data, sales dashboards, and territory effectiveness metrics to identify behavioral gaps and implement targeted coaching initiatives.
Regulatory & Compliance Mastery
- Integrate compliance requirements into all training programs, coaching sessions, and role-play exercises.
- Ensure all coaching methodologies promote ethical selling practices and adherence to approved product labeling and regulatory requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Measure the effectiveness and ROI of training initiatives through key business metrics, including:
- New hire ramp-up time
- Win rates
- Average deal size
- Commercial performance indicators
- Analyze CRM platforms (Salesforce, Orion, SFE Vision Tracker Center) to identify sales funnel opportunities and recommend training interventions.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Certifications in coaching, sales methodologies, or commercial excellence are highly preferred.

- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in:

- Proven success designing and executing strategic training programs across multicultural and regional environments.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong instructional design capabilities with experience creating learning solutions for diverse learning styles.
- Demonstrated success in sales force performance enablement within B2B or enterprise sales environments.
- Advanced coaching skills, including active listening, empathy, and trust-building with commercial teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure and demonstrate training effectiveness through data.
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and workshop leadership skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in:
- English
- Spanish
- Portuguese
Travel Requirements
- Up to 60% travel across LATAM.
