Regional Sales Manager (Java Area)

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, distribution expansion, and commercial execution across the assigned region. This role leads Area Sales Managers and works closely with distributors and cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of revenue, distribution, and market penetration targets while building a high-performing sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company commercial objectives.
• Drive achievement of regional sales, volume, distribution, and profitability targets.
• Monitor business performance across multiple areas and implement action plans to address performance gaps and accelerate growth.
• Lead, coach, and develop Area Sales Managers to strengthen leadership capability and sales execution effectiveness.
• Ensure consistent execution of sales strategies, trade programs, pricing initiatives, and operational standards across the region.
• Manage distributor partnerships to drive sales growth, improve market coverage, and maintain operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities for distribution expansion, market penetration, and business development within the region.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to generate actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other stakeholders to support business objectives and resolve operational challenges.
• Provide regular performance updates, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in sales, preferably within FMCG or General Trade environments.
• At least 3 years of experience leading multiple areas, territories, or regional sales operations.
• Strong understanding of distributor management, GT channel operations, and route-to-market strategies.
• Proven track record of delivering sales growth, distribution expansion, and target achievement.
• Experience leading and developing large sales teams through Area Sales Managers or equivalent leadership roles.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into business actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in sales reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis tools.
• Willing to travel extensively within the assigned region.
