Job Description:
The Head of Urban Projects oversees all non-industrial projects nationwide. They manage and lead the Construction Department, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery by monitoring project scopes and contractor performance.The director defines project phases, manages budgets and timelines, guides project managers, and oversees all stages from site due diligence to post-construction, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
- Is responsible for all non-industrial projects across the country.
- The projects will range from new build to fit-out, refurbishments, and installation upgrades.
- Enhance and support the Construction Department by managing and leading employees.
- Monitoring the scope of work for different construction projects, and ensuring progress through monitoring project evolution and contractor performance to ensure high-end and on-time delivery.
- The Construction Director non-industrial plays an important role in driving successful construction the nonindustrial project, from conception to completion.
- Combine expertise in real estate development, financial acumen, and leadership skills to ensure projects meet or exceed the company's objectives.
- Defines development phases for the contractors to lead them through the projects to ensure that projects are managed time-efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Manages contractors and consultants by monitoring and controlling projects against budgeted costs, quality, and timelines to ensure that the project specifications are aligned with tender documents.
- Manages Projects Managers and provides guidance and feedback to ensure that the project implementation is progressing as per plan and that the development and engineering aspects comply with clients' requirements.
- Leading the non-industrial team and overlooks the projects from initial phase to the very end, means including site.
- Due diligence, permitting, preparation of the site from pre-construction, construction to post construction phase.
