Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our agile Workday Compensation team and play a key role in designing secure, scalable, and audit‑ready solutions across our global Workday platform. This senior role offers the opportunity to work hands‑on with Workday configurations, lead cross‑functional discovery sessions, and mentor junior analysts—while acting as a trusted SME guiding strategic product decisions.

What You’ll Do:
Core Responsibilities
Serve as a senior resource for Workday Compensation Administration, supporting day‑to‑day operations and leading strategic initiatives in a large enterprise environment.
Collaborate with the Compensation team, other product teams, and business partners to gather requirements, configure security settings, and support testing and audit activities.
Analyze complex business processes and translate them into secure, compliant, and scalable Workday solutions that follow least‑privilege principles.
Partner with the team during backlog refinement for Compensation features (estimation, acceptance criteria, testing strategy) and drive discovery to define security impacts, dependencies, and cross‑functional needs.
Coordinate functional and non‑functional testing (e.g., regression, negative testing, SoD validation) to ensure solutions meet policy, audit, and risk standards.
Partner with audit, risk, and compliance teams on access reviews, controls testing, remediation, and release readiness; maintain high‑quality process documentation.
Mentor junior analysts and champion standards for configuration, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Technical Expertise
Workday Configuration Expertise
Deep hands-on experience configuring:
Compensation packages, grades, plans, and eligibility rules
Compensation plans (Merit, Bonus, Stock, Commission, One-time payments, Allowances)
Advanced Compensation cycles and worksheets
Strong understanding of:
Compensation calculation frameworks and guideline logic
Workday data structures for compensation components and plans
Business Process (BP) & Security Integration
Configure and maintain compensation-related business processes, including:
Hire, compensation change, bonus payout, stock grant, and off-cycle adjustments
Align compensation configurations with:
Workday Business Process Framework (BPF)
Security groups and access controls for sensitive compensation data
Ensure compliance with audit controls and segregation of duties (SoD)
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a global HCM environment with multi-country requirements and compliance considerations
Functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Absence, Benefits, Payroll).
Knowledge of HR operations, compliance requirements, and HR data standards.
Understanding of audit reporting, compliance support, and security best practices.
Workday Compensation certification.
About You:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent IT Delivery skillset/training/experience.
Strong experience supporting a large, global Workday environment with deep expertise in Workday Compensation.
Strong functional and configuration knowledge of Workday Compensation module (Core and Advanced Compensation, Merit, Bonus, Stock, and Compensation Cycles), including experience designing and delivering end-to-end compensation processes (planning, allocation, approvals, and reporting) within a global HCM environment.
Comfortable building test strategies, executing validation, and documenting results for audit readiness.
Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think strategically and work independently.
Strong listening, documentation, and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
