As a specialist in the Safe and Sustainable Operations team you will work from Boots to Boardroom with our clients across service, manufacturing and other industries in Italy and the rest of Southern Europe.
Ideal Profile
- Strong and proven expertise in health & safety culture assessment and transformation gained either as a consultant or in an international industry environment using recognized models (10 years plus)
- Operational health & safety risk management experience at multiple organization levels applying Human Performance tools, Human Factor models, SIF prevention programs, Behavior Based Safety and other methods like Executive and Frontline Coaching
- Experience of guiding senior management teams in health & safety leadership and transformation through training, coaching, executive or corporate board positions in HSE or other roles
- Experience on HSE MS and potential accreditation in a health and safety field desired (e.g. ISO 45001, NEBOSH, Industrial Engineering, BOSIET and MIST for offshore work desirable but not essential)
- The ability to lead projects, guide clients, and deliver high‑quality technical work
- Fluency in Italian, English and preferably French
Key activities
- Develop and maintain contacts with clients and support multi-site culture assessments and transformation implementations travelling to HQs and site locations to complete the work
- Support client and business development initiatives in Italy and across Southern Europe including proposal writing, sales calls, marketing events, etc and providing specialist input where requested
- Conduct top management masterclasses in leadership engagement, risk management, incident and event learning and cascaded H&S capability and awareness training to all employees with leadership intervention techniques, safety routines, etc
- Develop and support transformation activities through leadership behaviour change programmes and front line coaching
- Network with other ERM specialists globally in sharing know how and client experiences to adopt emerging innovative human performance tools. Our team works with clients in energy, technology, mining companies, through to multi-national corporate companies and multi-industry investment portfolios
- Mentor and coach ERM colleagues in human performance measurement and tools to support growth from within and building capabilities in behavioural safety and leadership.
- Travel opportunities in Italy and beyond (30-50%), hybrid working from Milan office base
