Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neuroscience, women’s health, heart and vascular and cancer care
Scope of Work
Under the direction of the site designated leader, assigns and monitors the work of the Ultra sonographers to optimize quality and efficiency. Acts as a resource for ultrasound staff/department. Performs diagnostic ultrasounds and other related duties to ensure department policies and imaging standards are met. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
This is a Cardiac Ultrasound position; only RDCS, ACS, or RCS credentials are required
QUALIFICATIONS
Required associate’s degree or equivalent in health care or related field
Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health care or related field
Required Vocational/Technical Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound program or equivalent.
5 years of relevant experience as Ultrasound Technologist or related field Required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire required
